Im looking for opinions on what is the best TV I can get for my £1000 budget.

The Sony W8 is looking favourite right now but I'm not the most techy guy in the world so would appreciate any advice or alternatives.

Panasonic plasmas are best. The GT60 or ST60 would be good choices.

if you can find another £150 the 50" GT60 can be had for £1,149, and would be a fantastic TV for the money.
