What is the best speakers my needs, dali,kef,rega,or wharfedale

It would, but you haven't bought one yet so could consider that a requirement of a new amp IF you want to use the WiiM as a streamer and room correction tool.

The WiiM is a great streamer with a very good app and that is definitely something to be mindful of. It's worth exploring options to try to save budget where you can and to get the best bits out of any existing kit.

I would just miss out on inputs directly into the amp ? (meaning use a source selector box and no gain/volume adjustments for each souce other than 1 xdigital (pc) and 1x analog as i do now)

Tried google to se what amps have room correction, i really don't get some sort of list with amps with room correction, so every amp i think is good i have to google if it has room correction

I watched a danish review in english about Technics SU-GX70 not to power full but 80 watt in 4 ohm is enough

I could sell my amp if i don't need it or to have a little extra for bigger speakers (min 6" woofer)

Rotel DX-5 low power (my all in one nad dvd system surprises me very time that it has so much power) is less than 1 euro cheaper than the technics amp but i don't see that it has room correction to improve frequency responce more than you can do with bass, treble and guessing what eq setting you would change if you have peg or normal eq and how the q ost be with peg)

I think that is the price limit i would go for if i sell my amp not to have many unit or max what i can get, sell speaker and amp = ma silver 7g (not as expensive as evoke 10) ? + a better amp or start with a better amd that can handle 1200 euro speakers (almost 3x the price of my amp)

It's use my current amp and only that or not. There isn't any way i can use my amp for room fit, room correction together with a better amp

If i change my amp it's one amp with all the bells and whistle or an amp + a streamer with room correction

wiim amp ultra and everolo play is not an option at all, they are not a better enough option

@RTHerringbone The Pro doesn't have all the outputs, that's the Ultra. I don't think you can use the Pro as a streamer, unless you can do anything with the HDMI ARC?

I have sold my sub (not a huge deal breaker)

I prefere bass from my main speaker but the sub has a little lower extention and more power

Better bass + a little better highs, more airy,details

Generally better bass and a little bit of everything else (i think i mentioned it but without roomfit bass is lacking alot form my signature 5's, so noo amp without quality room correction)

Based of the comments form the store about amp/speakers, i wouldn't change max budget, price to something lower, if im going for an amp

room correction for all source i think is not possible but i so a demo version of an arcam a15 for around 803 euros, which i think is a good price (not shure about the difference in sound between the a and a+ models)

The Arcam A15 is a big jump up from where you are. they are around £1,000 here, which in theory is a good match for your speakers. The lack of bass you describe sounds very similar to the problems described in the Darko Audio article. He was using a Wiim Amp Ultra. He only stepped found a big improvement with the Arcam A5, you are looking at its big brother! Its quite possible class D amps aren't good at driving difficult low ohm speakers, or the WiiM may need a better power supply. Most modern full size A/B amps us big toroidal transformers what are very stable power. To use an analogy with cars, to go fast you need power, but to pull a heavy load you need torque.

What my problems is, is that bass is often weak without roomfit but even with roomfit it's not close to specs, as rated (as some reviews show)

BUT playing songs with good bass my main speaker sound just a little better in the bass but don't have the same extention and won't play bass as loud as when i use my sub and high/low pass filter but the quality is best,better than with my sub

buying both is a little expensive even when i have an anp and speaker i can sell

Sub is gone today (friday)

Speakers like monitor audio bronze 50 7g (bigger woofer and good reviews whathifi and hifinews) is not low budget (like wharfedale diamond 12.1i and dali kupid) but also not in the kef LS50, Q concerto meta price range + a better amp should be possible or a much better amp instead of my current amp

Just a shame ma don't make 3 size like yamaha hs or adam audio t v models

Both speakers are tested here (hifi.news)

guess what speaker is mine -6db 49 and 56hz 88% in sound quality vs 84%

Just found out the ma bronze 50 7g is as deep as the 8" silver 7g OMG

Have a limit under 30cm bothe the 2 mentioned speakers are around 33cm

I still think it should be possible. My Ultra is just used as a transport using the USB output to a separate headphone amp/DAC, and the Pro has USB. I think the same can also be achieved with the HDMI ARC slot on the Pro because that's "just" another digital output AFAIK.

Using 'room correction' and EQ is a rabbit hole and eternal distraction from the music, just like switching between digital filter options to see which sounds the best. I've tried both, and that includes WiiM and Dirac Live, and I've come to the conclusion that the old school approach of getting the match between speakers and room makes more sense, and achieves better results by far. Deliver the appropriate amount of clean power, sit back and enjoy the music. It's never going to be perfect, and some recordings will always sound better than others, but that's the nature of the beast.

Roomfit does a great job of changing the sound to improve sound quality

when my fr is like it is from the speaker + room, i want help to get most out of it

No way im buying a dirac live amp, the software is so embarrassing and stupidly expensive compared to musiccast,roomfit and mabye what lyngdorf uses (Room Perfect) i imagine is free

would it be posisble tro connect sources to amp, use preout to the streamer and digital out of the streamer + digital in on the amp as if you use an exteran eq you wanna use with all sources

The old and new audiolab 6000a is for sale with a discount the old 6000a på wiim pro plus is the same as the new 6000a MKII around 800 euros both (but the MK II don't have streaming,room correction, play only have streaming)

I don't doubt that the audoiolab 6000a is in a higher tier, sounds a little better than a wiim amp pro (just don't know by how much)

I have had my sa speaker for more than a year and wonder if i should try different speakers (just because i can, like when you change the cartridge on a turntable to something else than what you usually use)

But there are so many to choose from ,dali kupid very excellent budget speaker and small in size (more flexibility in terms of placement)

Rega kyte really good reviews and sutiable for long listning sessions without any listening fatigue

Kef Q1 meta single souce point, if they don't have the distortion of the kef ls50 they almost could be a cheaper version of the kef ls50

Wharfedale diamond 12.1i and 12.2i, under £269 for the big one but i can't get them atm in Denmark, reasonable price, big, bass, many love the old version (no good deals in denmark on the diamond 12 no i, since they only have the 12.0)

Nearfield, no port noise, no fatigue, good bass, amp Wiim amp pro

Everything you said but not all are litle i enjoy more and sounds smoother the big speakers have less compacted sound,

like big JBL´s, Tannoy´s Altec Lansing , Wharfedale, (what used to be) KEF, Celestion, Pioneer, Kenwood ,

Rogers, monitor Audio, Technics, my first favorite litle speakers were the 1979(only) SB-F3 from Technics that needed to be positioned directely to our hearing position ,it came with a tripod to adjust it ,sold separately Linear Phase speakers(the type),

Acoustic energy, Infinity, this last brand litle or huge, talking about Huge and more recent ,the Cerwin-Vega from the 80´s,

love B&W started in 79 but only could get some when the release of the CDM7, using them at the moment,

and my last love Canton, that i never wanted them near me,

mi think i´m forgeting something...., Elac first heard them bought by my father, as most of the above ,
but can´t forget the sound of the vella model.

Also like the Focal(i have some old speakers that in the back says focal and have the actual symbol),
Only the Utopia Grande EM EVO, i never will have them but heard them with a good system and if i had money to throw in the streets,

i would buy them with a Dan D´Agostino amplification system or a Prima Luna 400 EVO(brand responsable for the already a bit old , Prologue amplifier) with a complete turntable Nagra anyversary edition ,with all needed for it to work perfect, one can dream about things we can not buy
