I am just back from Capital AudioFest in Bethesda, MD

The flights from LA are on a United 787 Dreamliner and when in Business Class (48 seats) you get Polaris Class, lie-flat seats on a domestic flight. Not bad for $1450 as I was able to work both ways AND get some privacy.

My main travel headphones are Mark Levinson No. 5909s which I have reviewed and loved. They are expensive but nothing in comparison to my T+A Solitaire headphones for $1,600 a pair. BY NO MEANS do you need to spend that much money to get something good. Focal Bathy Headphones are nice but I think I like Bowers & Wilkins Px8s as well as lesser expensive Sennheiser Momentum 4s.

What do you travel with?

I can't wait to hear what's in your briefcase and how you bring your audiophile vibe to Seat 2B!!!

PS: My Levinsons are getting beat around the ear cups. :)

Apple AirPod Pros as I like to travel light as a regular short haul traveller. So it is phone, passport, laptop, book, glasses, AirPods and a Snickers bar.

For longer trips down to the homeland (NZ) I take my Bose NC ... which are now about 10 years old, but still going strong for when they are needed.
