Indeed. I find that Cruise is a bit like Marmite in people's opinions.
Personally I really like TC with A Few Good Men being one of my favourite films (not just for his performance though).

Guy Garvey - From the Vaults on Sky Arts (which is on Freeview/Freesat - I wouldn't be watching otherwise. Old archived and rare music clips from UK broadcasters, some of which haven't been seen since they were aired. Last one was themed on protest songs.

Filthy, Rich and Catflap - lacked the punk TV appeal of The Young Ones and very comfortably bested by Bottom, but enjoying it anyway.
Almost finished Man Down and really enjoying it, though Absolutely Fabulous abandoned after five series or so as it really goes downhill after the first two or three. Edina was obviously a caricature, but the morphs into a caricature of a caricature and just spends all her time shouting. Didn't work.

Was disappointing, and very much proved they've had their day (as a trio) in my view.
I enjoy Clarksons Farm and James May's various solo endeavours.
I won't miss Hammond, he just gets more annoying with age

Mortimer and Whitehouse are back with series 7 of Gone Fishing....

A House through Time - Two Cities at War. Not seen any of these before, but very interesting viewing - the stories of people who lived in two well-to-do blocks of flats in London and Berlin in the run-up to and during the war. The sheer work that must go into the research boggles the mind.
