The acoustic guitar playing on this is just on a different planet. I've just ordered the the new vinyl release from MOV. I don't normally buy brand new vinyl but for this album I will gladly make an exception.

Siouxsie and the Banshees - `Peepshow` CD

Another album I`d like to get on vinyl. When I first came across this album (recommendation from a friend) it didn`t hit me straight away but after two or three listens it sunk in. Well worth a listen.

Pendragon - `The World` CD

Last one today I think. Pendragon are a prog band who in recent years have modernised their sound somewhat. The new stuff is very good actually and I applaud them for making such a brave move as it would have been easy for them to just continue with the old style. Whilst saying that the old style is just perfect to listen to on headphones at this time of the day. They have at least three albums which are stronger than `The World` but it does have some nice moments and is quite a nice album to drift away on.

Last bit of warming up for the big event. Such a shame Petr Elfimov from Belarus didn`t make it past the semis with a cracker of a song called `Eyes That Never Lie`. What were they thinking?

This album has come around a few times on here and I've commented previously...but it's a classic in the making in my opinion and deservedly so...sounds absolutely superb with a bit of volume and some time to reflect on the day etc etc.
