It's a musical play, with a story and songs. The artists that are involved include Elvis Costello, Sheryl Crow, Kris Kristofferson, Dave Alvin, Phil Alvin, Taj Mahal, Ryan Bingham, Matthew McConaghey and Meg Ryan.

Worth a listen.
