Im after a TV for the Girlfriends place she has a budget of around £600 give or take and wants a decent set size wise 40" is max but would prefere 37" main uses is sky digital (not HD) and DVD,s she likes the super thin LED's but im unsure if thats wise at this size so if anyone can suggest a set that menats her criteria you would be helping me out.

Hi there,

Just had a quick look on a couple of sites and LG do a 37 inch LED that you can get for 549 pounds. It has 100hz picture processing has internet capability and freeview HD built in.

That shoulfd fit the bill. Slim, in budget and LED should sway the decision

I just bought the LG 37LD490 which is an lcd and its Full HD. i got it for £400 and with money you saved you could buy her a blue-ray player eg Sony 370 which would upscale her dvds and looks fantastic with movies in the blue-ray format. I have watched sky HD and bluerays on my LG and they look fantastic. You will need to tweek the picture and turn off some of the picture processing to get the best picture.

best wishes

Chris
