views on bi amping quads

Hi Guys Im looking for some feedback with regards to bi amping.

I currently have the Quad L-ite set up with my recent purchase of the Sony DA2400ES. (must say im very pleased with the Sony)

I have tried Bi amping but could not notice a great difference. Is it safe to bi amp the Quad L-ites? as the manual only mentions bi wiring (which i already have done). My previous receiver (Onkyo 605) said it wasnt safe to bi amp 6 ohm speakers which makes me a bit unsure of bi amping?

as long as the speakers have 4 inputs no problem - i have quad 12l2s biamped
