Very best Wii connection

Recently purchased the Panasonic TH42PZ80B and was wondering what cable is the best to connect the Kids Wii in terms of picture and audio, the internet seems to come up with component, If this is the case which cable and what settings for the Wii and the Plasma.

Can anyone also recommend a good retailer.

It is indeed the component cable, which outputs the Wii at 480p if I remember correctly. You'll need to set the Wii to this in the settings, then just let your TV upscale the rest.

Incidentally I've got mine hooked up via my AV receiver, and it looks and sounds awesome!

You could also consider a high performance power cable. We have lots of customers using our new Copper-line Alpha Power Cable on the PS3, Xbox and Wii to great effect gaining improvements to both picture and sound quality. Obviously there are other companies apart from us offering similar products so you do not have to try ours but it is another option to gain some further improvements.

With regards to settings on your plasma just ensure that you have set up your screen correctly. Any THX-certified DVD/Blu-ray disc will have their calibration tool test included. Use this to set up your screen optimally.
