I have an Onkyo 608 receiver which has given us very good service. Sky HD, Blueray player, Apple TV3 & Samsung 46in tv, all connected through HDMI.

Can anyone advise me. It it worth replacing the Onkyo with the Sony 1050?

I may be upgrading my amp this year from an onkyo 606 amp depending on how much money i get for my birthday in mid september, their is a good chance i will be getting a new 4K tv so i will want a new amp for 3D and 4K pass through, if i wasn't thinking of upgrading my tv i would keep my onkyo amp and not upgrade, for the sake of it.
