Hey *dirol* I want to buy something to improve my sound of my tv. I was looking at the The Q Acoustics Q-TV2 but i think i might go with a budget Soundbase only becuase i think it will look better on the eye. i am currently eyeing up the Cambridge Audio TV2 for £199. I dont really want to spend much more than that. Does anyone have a better recommendtaion for a Soundbase? Can i use this for everything on my tv or is it just used for films. Also is there a recommneded why of connecting it e.g Is one way better than other? Do i just connect it via optical?

Great thanks. I cant decide between the two. I cant work out what would look better on my 40 inch led tv.

Would you use a Soundbase/Sound bar for everything or just films?

what do most people do?

I have a onkyo amp that i use for everything tv and films, i have to keep the volume down though for films because otherwise i end up blowing the neighbours into the street.

My cheapest and best bang for buck was adding a small sub.. The old TV had a sub-out. Not probably the answer needed but may suggest looking for the Soundboard etc with the best LF performance. The old Yamaha sub now acts as a side table so £100 well spent!
