TV not picking up Sky box, please help!!!

Hi guys, had sky put into my girlfriends house yesterday, was working fine all day. Fired it all up this morning and the tv isnt picking up the sky box, its connected via scart, we have lost the remote for the tv and cant change the av inputs but the tv normally picks any scart signl and changes the av itself, any ideas/ help would be much appreciated as her daughter is nagging me to hell!!

Pressing the button marked "SKY" on the remote should cause it trigger the SCART switching signal.

yeh tried that and nothing, swapped scart leads over and still niothing, anything else i can go????

Doesn't the TV have manual input switching buttons somewhere on the set itself?

sadly no, but just sorted it out now, brought down a portable tv and it picked up the signal then went into sky box settings and scart control was set to off, changed that to on, switched to the main tv and it worked, no more nagging!!!

If it happens again, and If your Sky remote is set-up to control the TV...Pressing 'TV' then the 'Help' button should toggle through the A//V inputs.
