Hi
It has been a few years since I last posted on here, unfortunately think my old account has gone!
After buying a panasonic 50vt30 a few years ago, I have now found it's about an inch too wide for its home! So I am looking for a new tv.
Size wise 47-50 inch as all the new 50 inch tvs I have seen will fit. Budget is up to £1500 max. My movie collection is probably 50/50 DVD and blu ray, but I am that person who likes 3d and have a growing collection, so a really good 3d picture is important. I am now deciding between sky and Virgin but I am sure tv will be a mixture of sd and possibly mostly hd.
As everyone seems to be pushing 4k the main tvs I have seen are tw sony 8505 - which I've been told is poor 3d - the samsung 7500 and the panasonic 802 my current favourite.
Any recommendations on the above would be appreciated, as far as 4k I'm not fussed but if the best tv as far as what I need now is 4k it's a bonus.
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any advice!
