Trouble with my new Receiver

I have just bought a VSX-920 and connected it to my Sony BDP-S570 through a HDMI (QED) cable.

When I play a DVD I get Dolby Digital or DTS (obviously depending on the source). However, when I play a Blu-Ray disc I only get PCM sound and not DTS-HD or Dolby True HD.

I cannot seem to get into the menus to change anything, as when I press the Reveiver button on the remote absolutely nothing happens!

Can anyone help me?

Secondary audio should be off, Direct should be selected in the player. The amp should be in auto mode.

i have the 520 and the reciever button is only like a shift button on a computer you press it first and then the setup ect, hope this helps

On the player I had to set the BD Audio MIX Setting to Off in the Audio options.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

My Iron Maiden Flight 666 BD now sounds much better!
