Hi all,
I currently have a 5.1 setup with Elac fs 120 range driven by a Denon ave 3400.
I sold my speakers and tested Triangle Esprit range and boy, those speakers were way better than even B&W 704 S2,MA Silver 200....
Now,I was thinking to drive the 2 fronts with a stereo amp.I've read that it's possible to do that by connecting the air to the stereo amp from the pre os's to a HT bypass input on the stereo amp.
Now I want to know,Is there another way to use a stereo amp to drive the fronts because not all stereo amps have this HT bypass input.Audiolab 6000a and Parasound nc 200 have this, but the one I really want, the CA CX81,doesn't have this.
Did anyone hear these 3 amps playing? It's difficult in my place to find a shop to test t hem.
thx

I don't think people are familiar with these speakers, but reading around suggests you should use a forgiving amp. Was going to suggest a used Arcam A29, but I don't think it does av bypass. Try YBA if it's in your budget and has bypass.
