Sirs,

I am about to embark on my first upgrade in over a decade (If not longer), and have decided my Naim 92/flat cap/90are a bit long in the tooth. I have set my heart on a Naim set up again, as you either love them or hate them, and I am going for a 202/NAPSC/200 set up.

My problem comes with a streamer. I have enough to either go for an NDX or and ND5 XS with an XP5 XS power supply.

Which do you think will give the biggest bang for the buck, and stand the test of time?

Or can you suggest something else in a similar price/performance bracket.

For reference I have an LP12/Lingo/Ittock/Dynavector XX2 front end with Kef IQ9 speakers.

Many thanks,

Peter Wootton

Hi Peter

In my time I have owned a Linn LP12 / Ittok; Naim (42/110/SNAPS); and IQ9s - just not all at once.....so I have some idea of your sound.

My advice would be to try a Linn Majik DS as well as the Naim Streamers (I don't know which of your two options is better)......as you obviously like the Linn / Naim mix.
