I think it comes with it's own stock power supply. The PL50 is a beefy 50 watts linear PSU which will improve the sound quality further but it isn't essential.
Only if you feel the need to tweak it. 😊

A good linear supply will open up the sound envelope further.
If the power supply is already good, the difference will be enough for you to notice but probably not night and day difference.
A nice tweak to give you that extra yard.
If you're an audio-tweakly like me, it's life's little pleasures to waste money, ha ha ha, no I mean to experiment 😉

If it comes with an inadequate power supply it is clearly unfit for purpose.

I think tweaking is a form of HiFi madness and cables possibly the ruins of many good men.

If you're of sound disposition, please don't listen to me 🤣
If you're happy with the sound, really no reason to waste money 💰

Ok caveat out of the way! 🙂

The power supply for my FiiO K11 was adequate, done the job it was supposed to do.
People on the AVforum were talking about the positive results they getting from replacing the stock PSU with FiiO's linear supply.
I was intrigued, there must be something in this, so I purchased one.
It really does improve the soundstage a little.
No big leaps but noticeable, is it worth paying the extra money?
You may not see the need but the option is there if you wish to 🙂
