I think it comes with it's own stock power supply. The PL50 is a beefy 50 watts linear PSU which will improve the sound quality further but it isn't essential.
Only if you feel the need to tweak it. 😊

Thanks Jason good to know i have very little experience with headphone Amps or DACS.
