If you are listening on your phone then high res is pointless, as your phone speakers are not good enough to hear the difference.,(Apart from placebo) so just use a lower setting.

Shouldn't be a network limitIs that a limit of the 5G network at that time? I notice you're not connected to your domestic Wi-Fi network.
So you think im listning to tidal at highest sound quality on my phones speakers ?If you are listening on your phone then high res is pointless, as your phone speakers are not good enough to hear the difference.,(Apart from placebo) so just use a lower setting.

Max goes from what ever max is from 16 bit 44.1khz to 24 bit and 192khzIt remains a problem nonetheless. From my experience using Tidal Connect is not perfect either.
You didn't get my comment?Max goes from what ever max is from 16 bit 44.1khz to 24 bit and 192khz
Old phone is rated at 24 bit and 192khz
You didn't mention anything else which would also have bearing on what is causing the stuttering, so without the full information we can only go with the information you gave.So you think im listning to tidal at highest sound quality on my phones speakers ?

A quick google implies that this phone has no headphone socket, so it must be a Bluetooth connection. Doesn't that render the quest for Max quality totally moot?
Though I actually use one of these:A quick google implies that this phone has no headphone socket, so it must be a Bluetooth connection. Doesn't that render the quest for Max quality totally moot?
USB C can do both data and charging but sometimes it sold as a charger and may have the data terminals disconnected - do check before purchasing.ust don't know if usb c is for charging only, any know about that ?
