the new kef kht 1005.2 kit worth it ?

appart from a new shape sub are the new baby kefs any better than the original award winning kit you can now pick up a set of kht1005 for £200 in silver is a £400 price tag right for the same set but in black or silver and if i wanted to spend £500 on a style speaker kit for my onkyo 605 is kef the way to go.

Hi Rapsey, I've had both the original KHT1005 and the KHT2005 eggs used with a Denon 1906. The 1005's were absolutely pants compared to the 2005. No mid range at all. The original 3005's are available from Superfi for £599 and would imagine that they are considerably superior to the 2005's. The Onkyo 605 is a decent bit of kit from all accounts and I would recommend the 2005's at the very least. Hope this helps.
