There’s a similar VW, can’t think of the name, it’s so memorable. The worst of all is the Land Rover Evoque.
Cars like that remind me of skips.

I think it's the T-Roc cabriolet. Stupid name, made even more ridiculous by the addition of a soft top. SUV's should never be soft tops, they look ridiculous. There’s a similar VW, can’t think of the name, it’s so memorable.

Couldn't agree more. They are tragic looking.I think it's the T-Roc cabriolet. Stupid name, made even more ridiculous by the addition of a soft top. SUV's should never be soft tops, they look ridiculous.
Most of them need to be put in skips. There’s a similar VW, can’t think of the name, it’s so memorable.

Great for yobs. I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole. Most of the Type R have been thrashed. The current Type R is a peach, apparently.
Apart from the twp letters “MG”, it has no link with MG’s history, whatsoever. I’m not sa,ying they are bad cars but, they are SAIC cars, with MG badges, because SAIC bought the rights to the name from BMW, purely for marketing reasons. It's an MG! I can't believe I'm saying positive things about a British iconic car that spent more time in the garage than on the road. 🙂

I suspect not these days - have you seen how expensive they've become? Current one is the best part of £50k, I believe - actually it's over. Costs a gnats more than my RS4 did, although that was nearly 20 years ago.Great for yobs. I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole. Most of the Type R have been thrashed.
Yes that is true. Have they really Resurrected the brand?Apart from the twp letters “MG”, it has no link with MG’s history, whatsoever. I’m not sa,ying they are bad cars but, they are SAIC cars, with MG badges, because SAIC bought the rights to the name from BMW, purely for marketing reasons.
Did you watch the video on Autocar? In the video they say it's only at over about 150, that the downforce puts enough load on the tyres, to allow all the torque to be fully deployed.Just reading about the 2013bhp Lotus Evija. The McLaren F1 took around 28s to get to 200, the Veyron SS 22.2 - the Evija needs a scarcely believable thirteen seconds dead. A moot point at £2.4m, but I can't decide whether I like it or not.
Putting it another way, the F1 took just over 22s to get from 100 to 200. The Veyron took just over 17s, and the Evija just over 8s. Apparently nothing on the F1 or Le Mans grid would get to 200 more than 1s or so faster
Reputation and reliability.Yet these Civics are so popular.
No idea why.
Reputation and reliability.
I haven't yet - would explain why it's 'only' as quick as what's gone before up to 100.Did you watch the video on Autocar? In the video they say it's only at over about 150, that the downforce puts enough load on the tyres, to allow all the torque to be fully deployed.
I don't know of a Japanese car that isn't reliable, Doug.Reputation and reliability.
I was chocked off F1 as it became too predictable, unlike the 1980s & 90s when they had V12 and V10 with turbos. Quite often the turbos used to blow themselves up.I have returned to F1 and I'm starting to enjoy it once again. A lot of British talent, perhaps it's time for whining Hamilton to retire?
Amazing what McClaren has done with the Mercedes engine and odd the Mercedes team, who have the crème de la crème pick of their engines is so behind McClaren, so weird!
Well done Lando, it's going down to the wire. Oscar Piastri has the slight edge, I do hope he doesn't start ramming his team mate of the circuit. It's also great you don't see this level of cynicism, good to see the end of Schumacher win at all costs mentality.
Highlights for me was the crazy duel between George Russell and Charles Leclerc, little reckless on the Frenchman's part, glad Russell made it to the podium.
Same here.I was chocked off F1 as it became too predictable, unlike the 1980s & 90s when they had V12 and V10 with turbos. Quite often the turbos used to blow themselves up.
I'm starting to enjoy it more now.
