hi lxd55 - i hope you get it sorted - not had any issues with the unit getting stuck in off - as mentioned have dropped in a - 10db attenuator which massively helped preventing it from striking the casing - i tend to listen with volume set somewhere between 55-65 depending on movie on my onkyo 876 7.1 - and lfe out was set to -1db but still found that the buttkicker would sometimes hit the casing even with volume on buttkicker unit turned down,vwith the -10db still gives plenty of rumble but without striking case

hi bigboss - what i meant was everything is turned off - i'm in bed it's 4am - I hear a thud come down stairs and the unit has turned itself back on everything else turned off

Hmmm....that's weird. Never heard of this before. Did you contact the manufacturer?
