TH50PX70 should I buy or not?

I have found this set for 900 with wall bracket, however usnure if it is still a good buy. The model is no longer available and not many dealers have any stock, in fact I have just found one. I will possibly buy in 6 months time the PDPLX508D pionner . But I want a good 50" now for under £1000

I'd just wait and put that money towards a new generation Pioneer PDP-LX5090. The official price from Pioneer is £2400 - cheaper than what the PDP-LX508D costs right now and they should be available from dealers next month. To spend £900 on a temporary tv seems like madness to me. Don't get me wrong, the Panasonic is a good set but the new Pioneer will be vastly superior and you'd be better off saving your money and waiting for it.
