ok so ive been off work for 6 months with an injury, im awaiting treatment which may not come for another few months. I am in the process of mutually agreeing dismissal on grounds of capability, as I did't want to and couldn't afford to stay on sick till I get seen for treatment. The workplace has started that process by sending a letter for a medical report from my doctors but at this stage and just been informed that my company is looking for redundancies, I have been at the company for 3 years and I want to finish there for various reasons, my question is, would it be best for me to go out by dismissal on grounds of capability or being made redundant by voluntary redundancy? any good advice would be appreciated
