Technics SU-V8 or V-10X

Hello,

I have an opportunity to buy one of these, both in TOP condition. Which one is better in overall sound performance and reliability? Whats your opinion on them? I would rather choose SU-V8.

Also i would be happy to read some thoughts about these ones:

Toshiba SB-115
Pioneer A-656 MarkII

I had the 70w SU-V4X and a cracker it was too. But I'd also veer towards the V8.

The Pioneer would be good, but there are a few other higher end models on Ebay just now, the A676 being one I think. The Technics amps are good, and don't forget the SU-V6 which is a decent and very clean sounding amp.

The v8 is the one though record spot is right the v6 plus if you can find one a v9 technics are imo one of the best classic brand and in their day one of the biggest

Sorry but my english slang is not very good. I assume you are trying to say that V8 is good, and that these old, high end Technics´ are good right? From my point of view its amazing (by design and also because it uses transistors instead of that ICs used in V500 and newer ones). Yes, the SU-V6 is almost identical to the V8, but V8 has more power.

On Ebay, i saw alot of Technics, even lower grade models with higher price - the V8 that i am looking for is for 150€, but its like out of the box. For me, the single best looking amp from technics is A7000 + C7000 combo in golden finish...looks epic, but the price....

So, whats the difference between V10X and V8? I can choose between these two, but the V10x is alot more expensive

What worries me about the V10X is those adjustable crossover frequencies - seems like a complication no-one needs.
