Hello all.

I recently purchased a TEAC Reference 300 system, for a barganous price from Ebay, it works great and sounds great for a small unit. Mint condition and running it with some Dali Sensor 1's

When I purcashed it, it came without a remote control. I managed to source (again through ebay) a TEAC RC-711 remote control that works with the system (Both REF300 and 500 systems), HOWEVER, it only works the amplifier.

I can change volume, inputs, on and off etc. But only the Amp.

Slightly confused as it's supposed to work the CD, Tuner, tape and MD. Its a big remote with functionality/buttons for the other units.

Am I missing something?

There are inputs on the back of each seperate that say 'Remote control'.. am I missing cables or something?

Thanks for you help...

Yes, you are missing cables. Connect them from A to A and from B to B. Also make sure that on the back of cd player remote control switch is set to 'system'.
