Hi,

Has anyone utilized the hollow space in the pedestal for filling with lead shot? I am sure I have seen this tip in a Tannoy manual .. but my manual has gone missing.

I may try this tip, but can you buy lead pellets in bulk? Is there something just as heavy for the same volume?

They were around £400 18 years ago... I am sure a similar speaker nowadays would be double that.

Not the same speakers,. but the same principle. My Mission 733i floorstanders have a cavity at the bottom for filling with either lead shot or sand. I've filled mine with sand in a bag, tightened up the bass a little.
