Hi

I've had a pair of Atacama Nexus 10s (filled) for a couple of years in my dining room, but having heard the difference a pair of Dreadnoughts can make (living room), I want a change. Trouble is the Dreadnoughts only come in the one size. Any seriously heavy, and tall, stands anyone can recommend? I'm not sure I'm convinced by the ANSAs - weight really does seem to make a difference in my experience and these just aren't.

Thanks

strangely enough ive owned all the stands you have and have reached the same conclusion - there is no replacement for mass! i was lucky enough to come across some Partington Heavi MkI's on ebay which tip the scales at over 20kg's!!!
these stands are just superb. they just let your speakers sing without colouring the sound with any of their own character. they are only 57cm tall though so maybe not what you need - or maybe you need to find a taller standmount or shorter chair!
