Hi everyone!

First post,comes in two parts.

I am currently running a Sony DAV-DZ531W surroundsound system (that's the model with the wireless rear speakers, although I have them hard-wired). 1000w total outputa

What I would like to know is.

1)Would replacing the speaker cables with something like QED etc be worth the outlay ( about 20 metres required)

2)How do I connect the cables to the plastic Sony cable blocks at the rear of the system?

Thanks in anticipation.

I really don't think it would be worth it - the package is a budget style system and the cable included is fine.

I think that you would be wasting your money using expensive cable for your surround speakers. Save your money to buy some good Bluray or DVD discs

Try some cheap maplins speaker cable (assuming it fits into the apertures) if you feel the cable you have now is poor

I got QED micro for the rears, sounds great and its cheap, 1.50 per meter
