Hi everyone!

First post,comes in two parts.

I am currently running a Sony DAV-DZ531W surroundsound system (that's the model with the wireless rear speakers, although I have them hard-wired). 1000w total outputa

What I would like to know is.

1)Would replacing the speaker cables with something like QED etc be worth the outlay ( about 20 metres required)

2)How do I connect the cables to the plastic Sony cable blocks at the rear of the system?

Thanks in anticipation.

I really don't think it would be worth it - the package is a budget style system and the cable included is fine.

I think that you would be wasting your money using expensive cable for your surround speakers. Save your money to buy some good Bluray or DVD discs
