Hi There, I have a standard Sony surround system 7 to 8 yrs old that sounds ok with the TV etc. I also have in the same room a hifi / stereo system consisting of a Naim 5i with Neat Mission speakers.
I am thinking that my room (18ft x 10ft) is not big enough to warrant them both and am considering taking out the surround system and plugging the Naim to the TV. I have just changed my TV from SKY to Virgin and love the music in demand etc. It is not a massive job to change over but I would appreciate any thoughts before I try. I mainly use my Naim to play my Ipod, which I could still do
