music. You have posted on the hifi section.....I don't have amp yet but first speakers and sub i search...and what do you mean why i need sub?..you think about music or movies or in general?
In that case just buy any sub …the cheaper the better …. And turn the volume up to max….🙄 I guess you won’t be listening to string quartets…. 🤔..a sub that shakes and that is felt and not just heard
Why any sub? Isn't more expensive better? In that case just buy any sub …the cheaper the better …. And turn the volume up to max….🙄 I guess you won’t be listening to string quartets…. 🤔
How 🤔🤔🤔i dont understand ...I wouldn't take something cheapNot in your case……
More money buys you subtlety and timing and tone. Correctly set up you should not hear the sub as a separate item with music. But you said you want a sub that ‘shakes’ and is felt as well as heard…… so I suggest you do not waste your money…just pump up the volume! Mind the pictures don’t fall off the wall though…….How 🤔🤔🤔i dont understand ...I wouldn't take something cheap
I don't know how big is haha..
REL T5iI don't know how big is haha...I just want it to sound the whole space to me
to my mind the responses were not rude, unless you are talking about me as that moderator. The OP has done little to provide requested answers and continues to be very vague. The rude and unhelpful pointless comments not with standing from a moderator no less.
To answer your question yes it worth spending money on subwoofer they are the most important and least understood and underrated part of the hifi get it right and it’s not just the bass tones that will see an increase in preformance. Everything from the mids to the highs and sound sound stage.
In general I’d stay away from speaker brand subwoofers eg klipsch. And look at brands such as svs that specialise in subwoofers they pay close attention to the driver even in there budget orintated offerings .
And sure there is no replacement for size but there’s more to it then that and just because a sub can produce a 10hz tone doesn’t mean your room will. You need to find a balance and normally smaller subs actually work best in the average home.
also if you haven’t got amp yet try to get one with a crossover control making sure everything below 60hz for example is sent to the subwoofer bluesound powernode for example. It will free the amp and speakers up to do what there good at. Leading to louder less distorted and coloured sound
Good luck have fun with your purchase what ever you get.
Really…..? 🤔 I don’t think so……it worth spending money on subwoofer they are the most important and least understood and underrated part of the hifi

😁 You should change your shop to ‘Subs R Us’ 😂Indeed a subwoofer is the most important component 👍
Btw, 90Hz is an excellent crossover point 🙂
Surely that depends on the main speakers you are pairing it with…..🤔90Hz is an excellent crossover point 🙂

Having re-read them, I fail to see anything rude. Maybe you are misinterpreting them? I thought the OP wasn't being treated seriously, and if I misjudge and English were not to be his first language then obviously I would apologise unreservedly. The second one I am gently (you'll notice the exclamation mark) trying to suggest that without more information, even those in the know might struggle to make the most appropriate suggestions. So if the OP isn't prepared to estimate the room size, is it reasonable to expect others to take the time to offer their thoughts?
Anyway, back on topic.
