Hey I am building a little bedroom setup and dont need anything to big.

I have a Onkyo HT-R380 Amp and speakers to match, but it did not come with a subwoofer, got the 5 speakers and amp for 100.00 from currys.

I was looking at either the

Q acoustics 2070s for 109.00

tannoy sfx subwoofer for 130ish.

I am a bit concerned with the problems with the 2070s, but seems Q acoustics have been great sorting the problems.

Whats your thoughts, 150.00 or less.

Thanks

The Yamaha's a non-starter, as it only has a preamp-level input, and not the speaker-level inputs you'll need to connect your Onkyo receiver

Any of the others mentioned will be fine.

Hiya, I am using the Wharfedale SW 150 . It is £ 169 at the moment. I seriously doubt, that you could get anywhere near that performance with something else in that price range . Go for it - you won`t be disappointed. It is a stunner for the money. If the nametag on it was B&W, Monitor Audio or else , it would easily cost £ 400-500 . And don`t let the pics of it fool you. It looks much better with the grille on it.

I think you guys are right, the sw150 seems the best value for money at 169.00

Did not really want to spend that much, but oh well, will have to stay off the beer for a week. :-(

I did see the Wharefdale SX10 for 150.00, but doesnt have as much power, and it has a smaller driver.
