I've just realised that there are no reviews of sub-woofer cables on the website. Could anyone please help me.

I have a budget monster cable for my sub-woofer (do not know which one though). Does anyone know if there will be any benefit in upgrading this to one of Chords cables (or other), or are the differences too slight to hear when it comes to 'sub-ish bass"?

Thanks
John

Some people claim there is no benefit to upgrading your cable, however, I got noticeable improvements in timing when I upgraded my freebie cable to the Chord Crimson. Guess it depends how good quality your free cable is - as always, buy from somewhere with a money back guarantee to ensure you can return it if there's no improvement.

Thanks PH...we can always rely on you can't we 😉

My current cable isn't a freebee but it is a budget Monster cable though. It's nice and thick but I understand the monster cables are not really an improvement over the freebies - All show and no go. However I seem to be hearing that the difference on sub cables is much smaller than with interconnects / speaker cables, simply because it is harder for the human ear to detect at that frequency. But if you've noticed a difference then that is good enough reason for me to give it a try. The question is, is the Crimson good enough to make a significant improvement, or should I go for the cobra 3? hmmm
