Subscibing to a thread?

How do I subscribe to a particular thread I wish to keep in contact with please?

Can't find it anywhere.

We did have an email facility for just this - it's in the software somewhere - but so many people complained about the volume of emails they were receiving, we decided to turn the facility off.

IIRC we can turn on 'receive emails' but then everyone who doesn't want them has to opt out, which is a pain I know, but at the mo we can't do subscriptions to threads.

Best bet is to bookmark the thread and check occasionally.

At the moment I create a shortcut to a folder on the desktop. Not major problem, just a clutter.
