Sub Woofers

I am thinking of buying a sub woofer to use with my Monitor Audio RX1 speakers.

I have in mind the BK XLS 200 or REL T3 which is on special offer at the moment.

Can members please give their opinions regarding the 2 sub woofers and any other thoughts

Why you need a subwoofer for RX1 ?? Do you find the bass insufficient ??

I've tried 3 different subs, and the BK XLS200 was deffently the best.

Compared to XTZ 12w16 and System Audio Subelectro 200.

Could you audition them both at home with your RX1's ?

Doubt I will be able to audition all models at home with RX1s

Anybody have knowledge of REL T3

I have not auditioned other subwoofer but bought my MJ Acoustic Pro MKII blind based on review which I am now totally satisfied with.

I had a pair of MA RX1 before and found the bass is more than sufficient and there is no need to have a sub. I wonder why you need a subwoofer unless your amplifier is not powerful enough to drive your RX1. BTW what is your amplifier and player?

Yes agree bass is good on RX1s but not as good as RX6s which is what I really wanted.

I have no space for RX6s so having RX1s with sub woofer instead
