stereo amps, quad, caspian etc

just wondering if any one knows what the quad elite amps are like, i currently have a roksan caspian m1 but i dont feel im getting as much power as would like. what speakers have you matched with your caspian amp with that you are happy with?

Hi,

I can not comment on the M1 as have never heard one, with regards to the M2 I would advise listening to PMC, KEF R series,Spendor A6 and Proac.

Maybe this gives you a start list for your M1.

I would also advise listening to the M2, some people say it is quite different to the M1 and has plenty of power.

I know that everybody are praising the Caspian but once I made a demo with the Proacs 140MK2 the first thing I noticed is that this amp lacks power :exmark: I think that Roksan invest on the pre section at the expense of the power output :? The most surprising thing is that the cheaper Roksan Kandy is better than his "big brother" the Caspian in terms of power :wall:
