The release date is still a long, long time away.

Andrew Everard:Hey, anything's got to be better than the forthcoming 3D version of Titanic, apparently due for release in 2012 to shamelessly cash in on commemorate the centenary of the disaster.

I'm yet to see the 2D version.

Whats it about again?

Oh perfect.
Having the VHS collection, the UK PAL laserdiscs, the NTSC "Collector's edition" laserdisc set, the NTSC "Ultimate collector's remastered edition" and the ubiquitous DVD set, I now have to splash out for the BluRay editions.

This is like the 007 series all over again, although the BD versions were really worth it.

On the subject of SW, I still think "ThumbWars" by animation genius Steve Oederkerk is the best takeoff of SW.
The sight of Darth ripping his menacing black cloak off to reveal a pink ballet tutu and proclaiming "Luke, I am your Mother" makes me scream every time.

The same team at O Animation also did FrankenThumb, The BlairThumb, GodThumb, BatThumb and ThumbTanic.

Catch them if you can!

Spoiler. He's his Father.

Oops wrong film, thought it was a thread for Star Wars.

It sinks.

- just acquired the DVD's as well (see below)

Just to go slightly off topic, I was at a car boot sale on Sunday and came across a young lady selling all these DVD's. Turns out her gentleman friend had left and she was selling all his stuff - DVD's £1 each - there were some really good ones and rather than risk sharing the spoils with fellow vultures, I offered her £25 for the lot (it was a quite a big box) and legged it. On arrival back home I discovered, amongst other splendid examples, the complete Star Wars DVD box set (two sets of three), still in cellophane.

Hell hath no fury etc etc

The DVDs look good, but i fear that that the prequels will look like CGI cartoons in HD, the audio on the first 3 could be a bit bettered cause it is fair at best.
