Exactly, so to hell with global warming scaremongers I say! Who are these wimps? Bet they're the same people who grounded all our aircraft last week just because a couple of planes could have fallen out of the sky! Don't they understand the impact of putting human lives or the planet before money? We've a huge enough deficit as it is.

No problems, drummerman. I no longer live in the UK so am not totally sure who you mean. If it's who I think it is I wouldn't have though he was anything other than an apologist for big business, as all the leaders of the large UK political parties are.

I turn all my stuff off at night except for my router. Maybe stuff does take time to warm up.....but I don't think it can be as long as some may suggest.
