SQ comparison with different sources using optical out to DAC

Has anyone did a comparison on sound quality between Airport Express and ATV2 or even Sonos and Squeezebox. If I use only optical out from either of these devices to my Dacmagic then are there any improvements in sound quality if I use Sonos instead of AEX. Thanks

Try connecting your computer directly to your dac,without any of those devices , if you Dac can't plug directly into your PC then try a good USB to s/pdif converter.
