Question Spike Audio Pro A38

I used to have Mission 753 with spikes on my carpeted concrete floor. To be honest my wife thought the spikes were great as when the speaker was removed there was no giant flattened carpet.


My new Audio Pro A38 do not have spikes and slightly wobble when touched. Should I add spikes to remove wobble? If so any recommendation for which spikes?


Any advice please.

It would certainly help with the wobble and help firm up the sound of the speakers even on a concrete floor. You’ll need to find the right bolt size, if indeed your speakers allow fitment of spikes.

Like all things in hifi you can go absolutely mad with the price but Amazon sell a pack of 8 for a 10er , if they fit. They’ll be absolutely fine.

Or ask the dealer/shop where you bought them from to help you out.

Is that speaker actually threaded for spikes?
If not it could be tricky to fit some, however that's the only way you are going to end up with a non-flattened carpet.

I don't think they are; at least to my eyes the holes in the plinth look smooth.
