After buying a Bk Monolith to replace an Old Vibe Alpha 2 sub im now after an upgrade for the front 3 speakers,
Im going to keep my old Mission M3d bipoles at the rear for now buy some stand mounts up front for left and right and move them to the rear later when i buy floor standers again.
The question is which way to turn? Everybody says B&W 685's, a good speaker im sure but some say there a little mellow, and im after something a little brighter but not harsh, so in come the Rega RS1/RVox combo but these may be too bright and i also get the feeling there a very 2Ch orientated setup but still a very serious looking speaker, and then the Mordent Mezzo came into the pic after a few reviews i have seen saying its very in your face and detailed with 5.1 movie viewing so this really does look like the system for me and since all the sound would be from SkyHD, Xbox360 and Blu-Ray.
All the systems look as good to me, i would be happy with any in that respect, As all the speakers would be run off a pioneer 1018AH 140wpc (rms) AVR im just a little stuck as to what might be the best system or weather i have missed any other good speakers within the price bracket, i would not be looking to drop to the lower price bracket nore can i afford to go any higher well maybe +£20 onto of each and they must be between 6-8 Ohms
