Speakers for Marantz PM5003

I have just bought a Marantz PM5003. I would like some suggestions on what interconnects to use and what speakers to pair with the amplifier. I have been told the MA BR2's and MS 902i's will sound a bit bright with the amplifier. So i have been considering Wharfedale Diamond 9.1's and Tannoy F1's also the Wharfedale 10.1's but they are a bit expensive. I want to buy the speakers soon.

Yes, the Diamond 9.1 would have excellent synergy with the 5003.
