If you want floorstanders at that price range then RS6s or B&W 684s although someone on here may recommend Rega RS3s.

It depends on the sort of music you listen to. MA are considered to be quite bright and therefore will suit various types of music but not others...

I have the 8000a with the cd73 and I use a pair of ten year old mission 682 (quite often cheap now on ebay) and qed silver anniversary cable.

I would be saying Epos to that setup. You have a neutral setup with the electronics and you'll therefore want a neutral pair of speakers with good timing to make the best of the CD73 which is a very zippy CD player for the money. Also the Epos M12.2s have a nice bass depth to them to make the best of the Arcam's very powerful and accurate bass.
