Upgrade from Audiolab M-DAC+

Hi all,

Title says it all really. I currently use the Audiolab as a preamp with a pair of active speakers for streaming with Qobuz and also with an Innuos Zen Mini.

Just wondering where next?

What make are the speakers out of interest? Both the source and the DAC are already pretty capable.

Speakers are Dynaudio Xeo 10s. It's a home study set up.

So what is lacking in your current set-up?
Perhaps a server with some sort of display or do you have that on controlling device?

The Innous has its own control app which is pretty good. Whilst I know nothing about the speakers, on the face of it, this looks like a nice little setup. So, as you say, unless there is some significant deficiency, things look smart already😀

Unless I’m wrong, if it’s extra grunt, it will be the active speakers that will be the primary means to get it. However, unless you’re regularly listening to this system away from the desk in a fairly large room, then as you say, “ if it ain’t broke…”

Occasionally, we all need reminding that what we’ve already got is pretty good 😀👍
