Try the Kef LS50s for a start but think you need to give us some more info. and what you want, budget, music, room size etc.

Sorry but I failed to properly save my text. Yes I like the sound of the KEF LS50's but they are pricey. When the amp was first produced it was a WHF 'best Buy' and they recommended a pair of B & W speakers but I can't remember which ones!

Think they were the 685s. Would also consider Monitor Audio GS10s, Usher S520 and Epos M12is.

*EDIT* If you're talking about the Roksan Kandy MKIII then they were matched (originally) with Quad 11L, while the LIII was matched with B&W 685.

At that time it would been the B&W 685s. These are still a good shout but also have a listen to the Q Acoustics Concept 20s and Acoustic Energy's 301s. Both are excellent speakers for the money.

Try the B&W CM1s, a bit more expensive at £500 but better built, finished and maybe sound better. Around that price try AE 301, Epos Epic 2 and Kef R100.

I would not go TOO much on reviews as your tastes, room and music are no doubt different from the reviewers, just remember WHF uses top end gear in a treated room. Try to get home demos, your room will be a big factor. Generally I would spend more on speakers than the amp.

What music and size room do have?
