Sound sync issue

Not sure if this is a question for the HiFi section or the movie section but anyway. I connected my Oppo BD 103 to my Hegel H160 amp with RCA connectors. Stuck in a Peter Gabriel Blu Ray and was more than annoyed with the out of sync sound/picture. It's not just a little out either.

It makes watching/listening to music BluRays a joke. Is there anything that can be done to sort this?

I'd be surprised if the Oppo doesn't have any options for lip-sync adjustment but the TV might well do, have a look.

It wasn't a problem when using the TV/soundbar because it's connected with HDMI but it was a problem using the H160 with my ATC speakers.

I checked for sync settings an lo! there is one. So after fiddling with that all is good. Apparently the sync settings were added some time ago via a firmware upgrade and the player didn't have that option to begin with.
