Sound enhancer from Acoustic Research

Im always a bit sceptical when it comes to these 'gagdets'. However the reputation of Acoustic Research is great, so I am curious about your opinion!

I'm intrigued though not convinced by the claim that it "uses only passive circuitry" but "Patented circuitry provides an increase in voltage".
Presumably by reducing current? Or could this could be the miracle we've all been waiting for? :?

OH no just keep clear. I bought that item about 8 to 10 years ago. It just enhances the sound in a way that adds noise. I use it 4 a week & it went straight in the bin. This may be a different version or model but i dn't know 4 sure.

I think that the fact that it is reduced from $129 to $29 says it all.

Thats why I couldn't really believe Acoustic Research nametag is on this device. How can you ever take them seriously ? Or did the credit crunch hit them hard too?? 🙂
