i have to say they look stunning , most of them have led lighting too , one would assume they will be better than samsungs edge led models from this year , surely now they will have no clouding ?? lets hope so , my lovely g10 plasma doesnt look so good anymore , hmmm , a 50in panny kuro for the sitting room and a sony 40in led for the bedroom , sounds good to me ......

now , about that job

The specs sure look good, I like the integrated Freeview HD tuners on so many models.

The LED lighting and HD tuner may well see me pass on my Sony 40w2000 to the family

Andrew Everard:Opinions divided in the office about that 'monolithic' design

I have to admit the monolithic design looks very nice and very different, it's a very specific design, so the right furniture is needed to set it off i think.

I think they all look great. I can't tell from the photos, but are they a "one sheet of glass" design?

Hmmm - so you have to refurnish your home to match the TV?

Sounds a shade topsy turvy to me...

not a problem , if your a druid , should fit right in ..

haha, yeah you might be right on that one, so that's a kinda negative one now for the monolithic design? I think it's one of those styles that needs the right stand to be sat on, i can imagine it now, someone buying one and plopping it on a stand that's not as wide as the tv itself.

the 'monolithic' design will house the sound system. But yes it will take some getting used to.we have had some people round today that are designing some new stands and wall mounts for the new range................and we only had a new store re-fit in july 2009 lol.

Or possibly just into the looks of 1980s 'Greed is good' executive desk toys...

I'm hoping that the new sleek monolithic design on a lowish stand/furniture wins my wife over to a 40" rather than a maximum of 32" to replace the present 28" CRT.
