Sony Walkman NWZ-E443 Where is the volume....

Hi,

This Sony unit that arrived second hand from a friend, seems to have very little volume.

Even after going in to settings, it really is soft sounding.

I cannot believe Sony sell them like this.

Is there a trick to setting it up.

The music i've transferred, is just straight from cd to laptop to Walkman.

If there is no solution, then in the bin it goes..

go in the settings menu then common settings then see if AVLS (volume limit) is turned on

I assume you meant turned off and not on.

Yes the device which limits the sound, as if that were necessary, is turned off.

Everything works on the machine, so I assume no fault.

It just won't turn up at all.

Even to safe, but loud enough levels.
